mH2O to ftH2O Conversion Table

The following conversion formula shows how a pressure in meters of water column can be converted into feet of water column:

  • 1 ftH2O = 2989.07 pascals (Pa)
  • 1 mH2O = 9806.65 pascals (Pa)
  • ftH2O value x 2989.07 Pa = mH2O value x 9806.65 Pa
  • ftH2O value = mH2O value x 3.28084

Alternatively the conversion formula can be found by using length conversion from meters into feet:

  • 1 foot = 12 inches
  • 1 mH2O = 1000 mm
  • 1 inch = 25.4 mm
  • 1 foot = 12 x 25.4 mm = 304.8 mm = 0.3048 metres
  • 1 metre = 1/0.3048 feet = 3.28084 feet
  • ftH2O value = mH2O value x 3.28084
