A water column height in feet can be converted into a hydrostatic water pressure in bar with the following calculation:

  • 1 bar = 100000 pascals (Pa)
  • 1 ftH2O = 2,989.07 pascals (Pa)
  • bar value x 100000 Pa = ftH2O value x 2,989.07 Pa
