Power and measure the current loop signal output from any 4 to 20 milliamp transmitter, and wirelessly transmit it to a wireless receiver hub for distributing to other instrumentation via analogue output, digital coms, or a mobile network.
The IWTxT belongs to the IW series of wireless measurement products, and can be used alongside a suite of complementary wireless transmitters for different measurement types, and is fully compatible with all IW series wireless receivers.

Product Description
The IWTxT is designed to convert any standard 4-20 mA transmitter type sensor into a wireless sensor.
It works by switching on a supply to the 4-20 mA transmitter, waiting for a suitable settling time and then sending the data to a wireless receiver unit.
The IWTxT is specially designed to maximise battery life and in a typical application the battery life will exceed 12 months. The data update rate is user selectable to suit the requirement of each measured variable and so maximize battery life.
Typical update rates include 1 second, 10 seconds, 60 seconds or 1 hour. The system also features a signal strength reading and time since last transmission which can be remotely monitored.
The IWTxT wireless 4-20mA input transmitter is battery powered and can be installed up to 500m away from the wireless receiver unit.
Monitor and log 4-20mA output devices from multiple locations using the user interface dashboard provided for each type of wireless receiver hub.
Each 4-20mA to wireless converter is compatible with a choice of wireless receivers to transmit the current signal via an analogue output, Ethernet TCP connection, RS232/RS485 Modbus RTU serial interface, or a 2G/3G/4G mobile cellular network.
