This tool will calculate the measurement of a selected dimension for one of the shapes, which is necessary to ensure a rectangular box and a cylinder have the same volume.
Use this tool to calculate the dimensions of a cylindrical tank which is required to replace a rectangular shaped tank or vice versa.
Determine the length of a material supplied in cylindrical form that is required to be moulded into a rectangular shaped material.
Experiment with different dimensions of each shape whilst maintaining an equal volume for both.

This is the length of the longest horizontal dimension of the rectangular box.
Width of Box
This is the length of the shortest horizontal dimension of the rectangular box.

This is the length of the vertical dimension of the rectangular box.

This is the length of the cylindrical shaped object.
Diameter of Cylinder
This is the diameter of the cylindrical shaped object.
Volume
This is the volume of the rectangular or cylindrical shaped object.
