I’m looking for a pressure transmitter which can measure a vacuum pressure from zero to minus 100 millibar negative pressure. The transmitter is going to be installed below ground beside a fuel tank which is prone to flooding, so it needs to be water-resistant. Since the area around the fuel tanks is classed a hazardous area, the pressure transmitter will also need to be ATEX approved for intrinsic safety. The IS barrier will be in a kiosk 30 metres away from the fuel tank. What device specification would you suggest for this application?
