This electric vehicle consumption calculator will take the battery electrical energy consumed and the distance travelled by a battery powered electric vehicle (EV, BEV), and determine the average fuel consumption performance for that journey.

EVC = E / d

Battery Energy Used

Enter the total battery energy used during the trip.

Distance Travelled

Enter the total distance of the trip in any units.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Consumption

This is the average battery energy per unit of distance performance, calculated from the battery energy consumed and entered journey distance. Energy per distance consumption is often used to compare the efficiency of battery electric vehicles, which have electric motors, typically powered by rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries.
