We are looking to obtain a data-logger which we can connect to a natural gas supply pipework which serves a number of boilers in our building. We believe the incoming gas supply pressure is changing and causing the boilers to trip out when it dips below the low pressure threshold. The pressures we need to monitor should be between 0 and 100mbar gauge and we will need to down load the recorded gas pressures with a USB connection and software installed on our laptop computer. Please could you suggest a product that would be able to satisfy this requirement.
For monitoring natural gas service pipe pressure to boilers we would suggest the DM01 which is a low range pressure logger which has a 0 to 100 mbar pressure range. The instrument is battery powered and is also ATEX approved for use in hazardous zones, in case this is also a requirement. This low range pressure datalogger will store all the recorded data within its internal memory. A USB cable and software is also provided to upload the data from the logger to a laptop computer.
