I am looking for a high accuracy, very high precision, pressure transducer which is intrinsically safe. We are trying to measure pressure in a gas tank filled with stoddard solvent. I would like the sensor to be able to detect pressure differences to a high resolution. We will have one sensor on the bottom of the tank with the sensing head submerged, and the other measuring the atmospheric pressure inside the tank. The difference between these two pressures along with a correction for specific gravity will give us the liquid height in the tank in mm. Do you have any sensor that fits this description?
For submerging in the tank to measuring the hydrostatic pressure of the white spirits, we would suggest the LMP307 with ATEX approved 4-20mA output, FKM seals, FEP cable and the option for high resolution & accuracy of 0.1% full scale.
For measuring the air pressure in the tank we would suggest the DMP331 with ATEX approved 4-20mA output, FKM seals and the option for high resolution and high accuracy of 0.1% full scale.
