This heat capacity units conversion tool will convert values of heat transferred per unit of temperature into any combination of heat energy and delta temperature units.
Heat capacity (C) is a measure of how much heat energy (Q) is required to be transferred to or from a solid, liquid or gas, in order to cause a one unit of temperature change (ΔT).
The SI unit for measuring heat capacity is joules per kelvin (J/K).
In addition to common units used for heat capacity such as joules per kelvin (J/K), calories per degree Celsius (cal/°C), kilocalories per degree Celsius (kcal/°C) and British thermal units per degree Fahrenheit (BTU/°F), you can also use other energy units combined with temperature units, which are not normally used for quantities of heat and associated calculations.
