Use this calculator to determine the resistance in ohm, kilohm or megohm units of a direct current (DC) electrical circuit with a specified power and current. Two conversion scales show how the resistance will vary  when the power or current is changed independently, whilst the other remains fixed with the entered value.

The formula used by this calculator to determine the DC electrical resistance from the power and current of the circuit is:

R = P / I²
