Negative ranges scaling part number code
For negative pressure ranges, does the a part number code X102 mean that 0 bar = 4mA mA, and -1 bar = 20 mA, or is it -1 bar = 4 mA and 0 bar = 20 mA? If it is the latter, what would be the code for the former?
The standard negative range configuration has the lowest pressure corresponding to 4mA, and zero pressure corresponding to 20 mA, and is designated by an ‘X’. For a non-standard reverse of this configuration, with 4mA at zero pressure and the lowest pressure at 20mA, it would be designated by a ‘Z’.
This is how the two different codes would be configured for a -1 bar pressure range:
- X102 = -1 bar = 4 mA and 0 bar = 20 mA
- Z102 = 0 bar = 4mA mA, and -1 bar = 20 mA
DMP331 & DCT531 Series accuracy and resolution options
The following table shows the output resolution, and type of temperature compensation, for the signal conditioning used on the DMP331 and DCT531, depending on the accuracy option selected:
