Submersible pressure transmitter with a flush diaphragm & intrinsic safety approval for measuring the level of wastewater in a holding tank which is 8 feet high.
The LMK 382 submersible wastewater level transmitter has a chemically resistant flush sensing diaphragm which is suitable for use on liquids which are prone to clogging small pipes cavities and contain varying constituents of corrosive chemicals. The sensor is housed in a stainless steel 316L housing, and a highly chemical resistant IP68 sealed FEP coated cable provides a submersible electrical connection for lowering the sensor inside the holding tank.
In installations where ignitable gases are produced as a by-product of waste decomposition, the LMK382 includes ATEX intrinsically safe approval for incorporation into a IS zone barrier protection circuit.
Wastewater holding tanks are used to store waste to facilitate a particular stage of the wastewater treatment process.
