Vacuum and steamer pressure transducer with -30 inHg to 100 psi range

Compound pressure transducer for vacuum/steamer machine with a -30 inHg to 100 psi g pressure range and a output voltage of 1-5V which is able to withstand up to 150 C on the pressure side.

The IMP series pressure sensor is designed for demanding applications such as vacuum/steamer machines where both vacuum and positive pressure measurements are required. This compound pressure transducer features a wide pressure range, spanning from -30 inHg to 100 psi, making it suitable for monitoring both the vacuum and steam phases of these machines.

A key feature of the IMP series is its ability to withstand high temperatures, up to 150°C, on the pressure side. This is particularly important in steam applications where the sensor may be exposed to high-temperature steam. To ensure reliable operation in these conditions, the sensor incorporates an integrated cooler in its design. This cooler helps to protect the sensor from the damaging effects of high temperatures and maintain its accuracy and stability.

The IMP series pressure sensor offers a standard 1-5V output signal, which is compatible with a wide range of industrial control and monitoring systems. This analog output provides a continuous and proportional representation of the measured pressure, allowing for precise control and monitoring of the vacuum/steamer machine. The G1/4 male process connection ensures compatibility with common industrial plumbing standards, simplifying installation and integration into existing systems.

This sensor is ideal for use in a variety of vacuum/steamer applications, including:

  • Sterilization autoclaves in laboratories and hospitals: Monitoring the pressure and vacuum levels during sterilization cycles to ensure effective and safe operation.
  • Food processing plants: Controlling the pressure and temperature in steam cookers and retorts to ensure consistent product quality and safety.
  • Textile manufacturing: Monitoring the pressure and vacuum in dyeing and finishing machines to achieve optimal process control and fabric quality.
  • Industrial cleaning equipment: Measuring the pressure and vacuum in steam cleaners and extraction units to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.

The IMP series pressure sensor’s combination of wide pressure range, high-temperature compatibility, and integrated cooler makes it a reliable and versatile solution for demanding vacuum/steamer applications. Its robust design and accurate performance ensure precise pressure monitoring and control, contributing to improved process efficiency, product quality, and safety.
