Can you suggest a universal signal conditioning unit which can be used for isolating a sensor from the rest of the instrumentation and provide local calibration adjustment for trimming the output signal to zero and full scale output?
For general requirements on most types of temperature and analogue output sensors, single channel and without a display, we would suggest the ISOCON 3 Port Signal Converter Module which is an isolating signal converter which can be powered by a ac or dc, low or high voltage power source. The ISOCON will measure thermocouple, resistive thermometers, voltage and current output sensors. Manually adjustable zero and span controls are provided for precise calibration of the retransmitted signal.
