The RAMPORT is a small and cost effective method of monitoring remote plant and equipment from any PC or internet enable terminal loaded with a standard web browser.
The RAMPORT periodically sends data to the remote PC , Server or SCADA package. The data upload can be initialised by either the RAMPORT or receiver if the unit is auxiliary powered. This can be process parameters such as temperatures, pressures, vibration or hours run counts or any alarms.
All the user has to do is log in securely on a PC, Smartphone or similar device with internet access using a standard web browser. In addition reports can be automatically generated, including email alarms and SMS text messages.A typical application diagram is shown below.

Product Help
Setting up SMS messaging function
How easy is it to set up the SMS function, is it a simple matter of plugging in a new SIM card into the RAMPORT-AI from any provider, and using the software to configure it to send you a SMS message to your own mobile phone with alerts/data etc…?
Yes that’s right, there’s some very basic PC software to set the unit up. For SIM cards you can use a Pay As You Go SIM as there’s hardly any cost involved in sending messages, so even a £5 balance would tend to last a long time.
Web SCADA software
Is there additional details for the RAMPORT “Full Web Server” option, subscription prices etc… and is there a demo account/software where we can try it out?
We recommend using Ecava IntegraXor web SCADA software, the website explains how to install, what the cost is, and how to use. Additional support can be provided for helping users get started with the software if required.
