We are looking to establish negative room pressure inside each of five interior zones to eliminate the spread of dust. The rooms will be sealed and each one will have an air scrubber vented to an adjacent room. We will need to monitor the pressure difference inside and outside the protected area to ensure a negative room pressure is being maintained within each room. Ideally we would want a centralised monitoring instrument with the ability to log the negative room pressure data for downloading to a computer. We would also like the capability to produce a graphical record of the negative room pressure trend, which can be printed out and submitted as a report. What product would you suggest for this application?
We would suggest the DPS which is a low range differential pressure sensor specifically designed for monitoring negative room pressures. Each DPS sensor can be connected to the CMC141 which is a multi-channel indicator and data-logger. The CMC141 includes 1.5 GB of internal memory and a graphic display which can be configured to show each pressure reading on the same screen. The CMC141 comes with software for transferring the internal pressure log to a computer.
