We are looking for a very compact pressure sensor. Preferably to be installed in M5 or M6 thread. The sensor should be able to measure between 1-30 bar, the operating temperature range is -20 to +80 degrees Celsius. We will be measuring pressure in a brake system filled with mineral oil or DOT4 brake fluid. We have a supply voltage of 12VDC and the sensor does not need to be extremely accurate.
We would suggest the ASM compact pressure sensor which has a regulated 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc output which will operate off a 12V dc supply. The sensor has a M5 thread and the internal components of the process connection are all welded stainless steel for compatibility with most types of brake fluid. The ASMT has an outside diameter of 13mm.
