I require a vacuum sensor loggers to monitor vacuum application bags. The vacuum I need to monitor is 0.25 to 0.4 bar over a 24 hour period. I need to monitor if and when the vac drops below 0.25 bar during a 24 hour period. Can you advise on instrumentation that can do this job?
Unless you require very high precision for the transition through 0.25 bar, the LEO Record would be a suitable instrument for logging vacuum pressure over a 24 hour period. The -1 to 3 bar gauge can log in the vacuum range (~0 to -1 bar) and over 24 hour period it is possible to easily store a reading every minute without filling up the memory. You can also log temperature readings the same time if you wish since the LEO Record also has a built in temperature sensor. The included software will allow you to look up individual readings with timestamps to determine the point at which the vacuum reached 0.25 bar.
