LEO 2 battery powered digital manometer with pressure ranges from -1 to 3 bar up to 700 bar with an accuracy of 0.2% full scale with 6 pressure units, zero tare & peak hold display functions and optional ATEX approval for intrinsic safety.
The LEO 2 digital pressure gauge can be permanently mounted as an alternative to an analogue dial pressure gauge or used as a convenient portable digital pressure test gage.
The LEO2 digital pressure gage features a low powered LCD display to conserve battery life, a swivel jointed pressure connection to allow re-positioning during use, a maximum or minimum value which can be displayed simultaneously with the live pressure reading and an auto timeout which can be deactivated if necessary for continuous reading.
For hazardous areas the LEO-2-Ei digital pressure gauge is ATEX approved for intrinsically safe use.

Product Description
0.1% accuracy battery powered digital pressure gauge with intrinsic safety option for hazardous areas.
This handy alternative to traditional analogue dial pressure gauges can be permanently fitted as a local pressure indicator or can be carried around and used as a master test gauge comparator. When mounted on top of a pneumatic or hydraulic hand pump the LEO 2 digital test gauge instantly becomes a portable pressure calibrator.
Battery Life
The LEO 2 digital manometer has a battery life of up to 1000 hours in continuous use.
Swivel process fitting
The pressure gauge is mounted via a novel swivel jointed pressure connection to allow re-orientation of the gauge during use.
Digital display
The 41/2 digit LCD display can show the live pressure reading plus the stored maximum or minimum value simultaneously.
Absolute & Gauge reference reading
The LEO2 pressure comparator has a simple to use zero tare operation to optimise instrument accuracy and facilitates switching between absolute and gauge reference readings. This allows the user to cut down on the number of test gauges they have to carry around as part of their test kit.
Intrinsically safe version
For hazardous areas there is LEO2 Ei ATEX approved intrinsically safe version which has identical functions, ranges and accuracy as the standard version.
Pressure Ranges
The LEO-2 digital pressure gage is available in four ranges -1 to 3 bar, -1 to 30 bar, 300 bar and 700 bar, and all have an accuracy of ±0.1% Full Scale, which is more than adequate for testing most pressure gauges and pressure sensors.
Environmental protection
The LEO 2 handheld pressure indicator is protected by a IP65 rated enclosure and a rubber boot cover is available to provide extra impact protection.

Product Help
-1 to 10 bar range
Is it possible to produce a LEO2 with a -1 to 10 bar pressure range?
This is not a standard range, but it is possible to manufacture a custom range, but this the delivery will be longer and the cost higher than a LEO2 with a standard pressure range.
Fixed process connector
What is the optional fixed process connector adapter?
As standard the LEO2 digital pressure gauge has a swivel joint built into the 7/16 UNF female to G1/4 male adaptor. This allows the face of the pressure gauge to be rotated to point in the desired direction.
However it is important to keep the swivel joint clean to maintain a perfect seal, and in leak tight critical applications it is recommended to use a fixed connection instead.
If the swivel adaptors is removed, you can use the 7/16 UNF male fitting which is fixed. This is not a very common size of fitting, so the LEO2 is also available with a fixed 7/16 UNF female to G1/4 male adaptor.
The G1/4 male thread is designed to seal on the end of the thread unlike the swivel joint adapter which seals around the outside at the bottom of the thread.
Alternatively, if you are able to use a slightly larger pressure gauge we would recommend using the LEO1 which has a fixed G1/4 male process connector as standard and the added benefit of a rotating body.
Error ADJ 0133
Our Keller LEO2 pressure gauge display has hung, and is showing an error message “ADJ 0133”, is there any way to remove this error?
This error message usually indicates that the internal pressure sensor or the connection to it is damaged. You will need to send the pressure gauge back to your supplier for repair.
1/4 NPT male
Is it possible to supply a 700 bar rane LEO2 with a swivel 1/4 NPT male fitting rather than the standard swivel 1/4 BSP male?
Yes, this is an option for the LEO2, and the configurator to order is as follows:
- SKU ID: s1-leo2-0001
- Part No: 303010.0304
- Pressure Range: 700 bar sg/abs
- Accuracy: 0.1% FS at room temp, 0.2% FS including 0 to 50°C temp errors
- Process Connection: 1/4 NPT male (swivel)
Rotating pressure connector
What is the purpose of the spare swivel pressure connector in the options for the LEO2 digital pressure gauge?
The swivel joint, which is fitted as standard to all LEO2 digital pressure gauges, allows the user to rotate the gauge once it is installed without any tools or the need to loosen any fittings.
The swivel adaptor includes elastomer seals which will wear out over time and use. Since there maybe wear on the rotating surfaces as well, it is recommended to replace the whole swivel connector assembly rather than just the swivel pin and seals. The number of spares you choose to purchase will depend on the expected use of the instrument.
Reading accuracy of -1 to 10 bar range
We have 2 critical pressures we want to measure, one is at 0.3 bar gauge and the other at 5 bar gauge. What would the accuracy of the LEO2 digital pressure gauge with a -1 to 10 bar range the lower and higher pressure point?
The LEO2 has an accuracy of 0.1% FS at room temperature. Therefore a -1 to 10 bar which has a span of 11 bar would be accurate to +/-0.011 bar (11 mbar) at the lower and the higher pressure point. The equivalent percentage accuracy at each point would be:
- 3.67% at 0.3 bar
- 0.22% at 5 bar
Monitor SF6 gas with 20°C compensation
Is there a pressure gauge that can be used to monitor the pressure of SF6 gas and correct the pressure reading to 20 degC?
There is a special version of the LEO2 which is designed to be used as an SF6 pressure gauge.
The SF6 version incorporates a KTY temperature sensor which measures the media temperature and compensates the pressure reading to the equivalent pressure at 20 degC.
An “SF6” (Sulphur Hexafloride) label can be fitted to the front panel if required.
The actual uncompensated pressure can be displayed by turning off the SF6 mode from the menu keys.
The pressure ranges available are 4 bar absolute and 11 bar absolute.
It is recommended to fit the gauge using the fixed 7/16 UNF male thread rather than the swivel joint G1/4 male thread to ensure a more reliable seal for leak testing SF6 gas.
Overflow error (OFL)
Please could you explain how OFL works on the LEO 2 manometer, is it triggered at a certain % of full scale or is it at the overpressure limit for each pressure range, or something else?
It is to a percentage of FS. If for example you have a 30bar range, then 30bar is set to around 90% of the available analogue to digital converter (ADC) points. When you go more than 30bar you still have 10% of ADC points which can give through interpolation a relative good reading. But when you reach the end of the ADC range at around 33bar then it is not possible to calculate a reading that has an acceptable accuracy. This is when the Overflow function is triggered, the display flashes and it displays OFL.
