Differences between LEO2 and LEO1 digital pressure gauge
What are the differences between the LEO1 and the LEO2 digital pressure gauge and what are the advantages/disadvantages of each?
The main differences between the LEO 1 and LEO 2 digital pressure gauges are as follows:
Plastic housing
The LEO1 has a larger 76mm diameter face and plastic housing which can be rotated in either direction depending on the mounting inclination. Also by using the lock nut located underneath around the stainless steel stem, the housing can be rotated around the vertical axis for additional optimisation of viewing angle.

The LEO2 has a smaller 59mm diameter face and plastic housing which is fixed in position and cannot be rotated, however the gauge can be rotated in the vertical axis via the swivel joint built-in to the pressure fitting.
Process Connection
The LEO 1 has a fixed G1/4 male (1/4 BSP P) and the LEO 2 has a swivel adaptor G1/4 male (1/4 BSP P) pressure fitting. The swivel joint includes 2 elastomer seals and depending on the use, the swivel assembly will need to be replaced at some point during the service life of the pressure gauge to maintain a leak tight seal. For test purposes the swivel joint is very convenient feature since the readout display can be easily orientated by turning the gauge without any need to loosen or tighten any fittings.
Maximum / Minimum Reading
Both pressure gauge include a function which allows a constantly updated reading of the highest or lowest pressure to be displayed in the lower half of the LCD screen. The LEO1 has the extra function which enables the user to select a faster update of 5000 times per second when updating the peak / valley memory store.
Pressure Range
The highest pressure range possible for the LEO 2 is 700 bar and the highest for the LEO 1 is 1000 bar.
