User Guide

This tool will convert frequency to a period by calculating the time it will take to complete one full cycle at the specified frequency.

For each frequency entered a conversion scale will display for a range of frequency versus period values.

Formula

The formula used to calculate the period of one cycle is:

T = 1 / f

Symbols
  • T = Time period of 1 cycle
  • f = Frequency

Frequency Measured

Enter the frequency in number of cycles per unit period of time.

Period Calculation

This is the amount of time it takes to complete one cycle.
