I need a sensor to measure differential pressure across fuel filters in an engine test cell on diesel and kerosene. The supply pressure applied to the fuel filter will be from 6-10 bar gauge, and the likely drop to be measured will be up to 2 bar. The engine test cell is treated as a hazardous area, therefore the sensor will need to be ATEX approved for intrinsic safety.
We would suggest the DMD 331 which has a 4-20mA output which is ATEX IS approved, with a standard 0 to 2.5 bar differential range. The wetted components include stainless steel 316L and FKM elastomer seals which are both compatible with diesel and kerosene.
