DCT532 I²C Pressure Sensor

The DCT532 I²C pressure sensor has a I²C serial computer bus protocol interface for sending pressure readings over addressable digital communications. A variety of electrical & process connection combinations are possible, with a choice of fixed pressure ranges from 0-100 mbar up to 0-400 bar gauge/absolute.

Resolution & measuring rate

What is the resolution & measuring rate of the DCT 532 I²C Pressure Sensor?

The resolution of the I²C output is 1/10000, and the measuring rate is limited to 500 Hz.

Water distribution networks

We are looking for a pressure transducer to monitor pressure and temperature in water distribution networks up to 16bar. The transducer must have a very low power consumption and work from a 2.5…4 Volt battery power supply. The I²C digital output is what is required to make it compatible with the electronics inside a battery powered smart water meter.

We would suggest the DCT 532 pressure transmitter with I²C for your application, which is a low powered device which runs on 3.5 to 5.5 Vdc.
