Product Description
The Baroli precision digital pressure gauge has a semiconductor strain gauge element incorporated into a stainless steel capsule offering an accuracy of 0.125% FS BSL for applications where accurate measurements are required such as pressure or leak testing.
A 41/2 digit LCD display for the pressure readout and a 6 digit display for displaying text such as pressure units or configuration modes are built into the display panel of Baroli precision digital pressure gage.
The display bezel can be rotated to any angle for convenient reading of the displayed pressure and is protected from dirt and moisture to a rating of IP 65. Using the menu driven membrane buttons below the LCD display, the Baroli precision digital pressure gauge can be configured to display in bar, mbar, psi, inHg, cmHg, mmHg, hPa, kPa, MPa, mH2O and inH2O pressure units. In addition to the live pressure reading the maximum and minimum process pressure limits can be selected and a high or low warning indication will be displayed at the top of the LCD readout.
The Baroli digital pressure gauge is easily re-calibrated and adjusted via the configuration menu and the auto turn off can be set to 5 different time intervals.
A selection of pressure fittings can be specified which include G1/2 & G1/4 male EN837 test point or 1/2 & 1/4 NPT male.
Product Help
-50 to +50 mbar range
Is it possible to use the baroli 02 to measure both negative and positive pressure relative to ambient pressure up to 50 mbar, and with a male 1/4″ NPT fitting?
Yes it is possible to manufacture a custom range of -50 to + 50 mbar gauge with a 1/4 NPT male process connection. As long as the total span is 100 mbar or more it is possible to scale bidirectional or compound ranges with a lower full scale pressure than the standard 100 mbar range limit.

Reference point of 100 mbar absolute
At 100 mbar Absolute will it be reading 100 mbar above full vacuum?
Yes absolute readings are by definition, always referenced to full vacuum, so 0 mbar absolute would be full vacuum. Since a full or perfect vacuum is very difficult to produce, absolute reference devices are typically calibrated at a higher pressure, e.g. 40 mbar, which is more practical to achieve, and the zero point is extrapolated from there.
Reading resolution of 4 bar range
What is the resolution in mbar of a 4 bar absolute range?
The gauge has a 41/2 digit display and can show values from 0 to 19999, therefore 4 bar will read as 4.000, which is a 1 mbar resolution.
Water level in metres of fresh water
Is it possible to use this pressure gauge to measure water level in metres of fresh water?
Yes it is possible to change the display to read in metres of water column (mH2O) pressure units, e.g. a standard 1 bar g range would read from 0 to 10 mH2O.
Reading 0 to 500.0 mmHg
I am looking for a digital pressure gauge in mmHg for a project I am currently working on to create a test chamber. I would like a pressure range of about 0 – 500mmHg with an accuracy of at least one decimal place. Please let me know if if the Baroli 02 meets these specifications?
A 1 bar range would be the closest standard range to measure 0 to 500 mmHg. The Baroli 02 has a 199999 digit display and includes the conversion to mmHg units, therefore the display will read as 500.0 mmHg, as required.
Reading in mmWC
Is it possible for the Baroli 02 pressure gauge to indicate pressure in mmWC?
The standard product includes the unit mH2O (Metres of Water Column), so 1.5 mH2O = 1500 mmWC.
However if you do not want to use mH2O, the Baroli can be configured with a special unit for an extra charge, but this unit will be fixed so you will not be able to change to psi, bar, etc…
Zero calibration procedure
How do you programme or reset the display to zero on the Baroli 02 pressure gauge?
The menu option to use is Cal ZP (Zero Point), the procedure is described in the manual under the section “Menu List”.
Calibration of end point (Cal ZP)
If you detect a shifting of the measured value deviating from the end point, the display can be re-calibrated.
For this, a pressure reference is necessary if the offset differs from the ambient pressure. The used pressure must be identical to the end point of the pressure measuring range. For reading the new pressure into the device, push the ▲ button.
If the re-calibration leads to a worsening of the original calibration, e. g. as a result of a defect pressure
reference, the defaults can be re-set by the menu item “LD FAC” according to your order.
Removing decimal places from displayed reading
We plan to use the Baroli 05 gauge in the mmHg mode. Can the gauge be set to read in integer values only?
Using the DECIMA option in the Baroli user interface, you can change the number of decimal places to zero. For example if the range was 0 to 1000 mmHg, the default display setting would read 0.0 to 1000.0 mmHg, but after changing the DECIMA setting to zero it will display readings as 0 to 1000 mmHg.
Checking the setting of relief valves
Does the Baroli 02 digital pressure gauge record max reading e.g. for when setting relief valves?
No, the Baroli series does not record max/min readings, instead we would suggest the LEO1 digital pressure gauge which has a max/min store feature and a high frequency capture mode of 5000 updates per second.
Part No: M00-1000-0-2-0K0-400-1-1-1-000
What is the specification for the part number M00-1000-0-2-0K0-400-1-1-1-000, it doesn’t appear to be included on the data sheet?
This is a part number created using the old part number coding, the equivalent part number using the new coding is M0E-1000-0-B2-0K0-400-1-1-1-1-000.
- SKU ID: s1-baroli02-0001
- Part No: M0E-1000-0-B2-0K0-400-1-1-1-1-000
- Pressure Range: 0 to 100

Reading measurements on a PC via USB
Is it possible to get a read out function on these gauges, like a USB port so that I can read out the measurements directly into the PC?
It is not possible to connect a Baroli pressure gauge to the PC, but alternatively the LEX1 pressure gauge does have the option to connect ot a PC via a USB port and use the provided software to display readings and log data.
