I am hoping to use a borehole where the pump is about 25 metres below the surface. The water level is about 12 metres below the surface. When switched on, the pump lowers the water to 20 metres below the surface in a few minutes. It takes 24 hours to recover the original level so my plan is to use the system to fill a tank. I would like the pump to operate automatically by switching on when the water has returned to about 14 metres below ground level and off at about 20 metres below the ground.
We would suggest the LMP 307 borehole level sensor and SRP-N118 display device for your application, this will come with 2 relays which can be used to start and stop the pump at pre-defined levels read by the LMP 307 sensor. The SRP-N118 is powered by mains and in turn will power the submersible sensor.
