The XSYS-0011 is supplied as a portable transport case with a CMC Multicon colour touchscreen data logger plus an optional MLP-149 portable printer integrated . The case is custom modified to accommodate the required number of input / output connectors, communication interfaces such as Ethernet or USB and power connectors for mains power or low voltage DC as required. Battery powered options are available on request.
Input / Output Connectors
Depending on your ordered configuration there will be a number of M12, A code, male bulkhead connectors (TE Connectivity, T4171210004-001) on the side of the device which will be internally wired to either input or output cards on the CMC Multicon. These are 4-pin connectors although 4 or 5 pin mating connectors and cordsets can be used.
The Ethernet RJ45 connection is used to connect the device to your network and communicate via TCP/IP to the supplied software or to connect the internal web server to your PC / Laptop browser using HTML5. A standard RJ45 ethernet cable can be used.
The USB slot in the front of the CMC Multicon is accessed by removing the plug safety plug. By inserting a USB flash drive (max. 2GB recommended) you can download the stored data and configuration files and transport them to the DAQ manager software.
In the back of the case you will see a fused standard IEC C14 power connector and neon power
switch. The installed fuse is typically 1.6A fast blow, this may increase in amps depending on the
number of input and output channels connected. Note: You will need to supply your own IEC C13
socket or cable assembly with your preferred Mains plug to suit your country of use.
DC low power supply, 19-50V dc
In the back of the case there will be a 3-pin + earth Hirschmann flange mount plug (part number: 932322100). For this version a Hirschmann mating wireable socket (part number: 934125100) is provided to which you can wire your own cable.
