Low cost pressure transmitter for measuring barometric pressure from 750 to 1250 millibar absolute. This transmitter has an elevated span starting at 4mA with a measurement of 750 millibar and ending at 20mA with a measurement of 1250 millibar. A compressed span will ensure that the maximum amount of signal resolution is utilised over the barometric range for the sensor and the measurement instrumentation.
