The DMP 331 P hygienic level sensor is specifically designed for the demanding environments found in breweries, wineries, distilleries, and cider production facilities. Its robust construction and hygienic design make it ideal for measuring the liquid level of a wide variety of beverages including beer, wine, spirits, and cider. Unlike other level sensing technologies that may require intrusive installations or have components that can trap liquids, the DMP 331 P is designed to be flush-mounted to the side of the tank. A key feature of the DMP 331 P is its food-grade oil-filled capsule. This capsule serves a dual purpose. All wetted parts, meaning those that come into contact with the process liquid, are not only made of this high-grade stainless steel but are also welded and polished to a smooth finish. This meticulous construction eliminates potential harborage points for bacteria and simplifies cleaning procedures.

The sensor is fitted using a 1-inch clamp (DN25) that adheres to the DIN 32676 standard. This standard ensures compatibility with a wide range of tank types and sizes commonly used in the beverage industry. Furthermore, the DMP 331 P is designed to meet the 3-A sanitary standard, a rigorous set of criteria developed specifically for equipment used in food and beverage processing.
