The display of the 40B 96 strain gauge readout is fully configurable via the IP65 front panel keypad to set the alarm trigger points, decimal point position, sampling rate, resolution, engineering units and input linearisation. Two buttons on the front panel can be configured for a choice of zero tare, display hold, max & min peak and peak memory reset.
The 40B-96 strain gauge readout fits a 96mm x 48mm (1/8 DIN) cutout and is supplied with a panel mounting bracket. Either a 100 to 240 Vac/dc or 11-27 Vac/dc power supply input can be specified for powering the display. There is also the option for specifying the sensor power supply for different types of sensor.
Tamper proof display for mV pressure transducer
I’m looking for a tamper proof unit to display pressure from 0 to 30 MPa from a linear input scale of -1.5mV to 32.6mV. The unit should be powered by a 28Vdc external power supply and be able to supply 10Vdc to the pressure transducer being monitored. What do you suggest?
The 40B96 strain gauge digital panel meter is primarily designed for measuring the output from 3.33 mV/V devices with a 350 Ohm bridge. The panel meter can also provide a stable sensor excitation voltage of 10Vdc and be powered externally by 11-27Vac/dc.
For security against tampering of instrument settings, the 40B96 has a selectable password and protection codes for locking out certain display functions.
