The DMP331P is a specialized pressure transmitter designed for demanding applications involving high-temperature steam. This robust sensor is engineered to provide reliable pressure measurements in steam systems operating at pressures up to 10 bar gauge. A key feature of the DMP331P is its integrated high-temperature isolator. This isolator effectively protects the sensitive electronic components from the extreme temperatures of steam, allowing the transmitter to operate reliably in environments reaching up to 260 degrees Celsius (500 degrees Fahrenheit). This makes the DMP331P suitable for a wide range of challenging industrial processes.

The transmitter utilizes a specialized silicon oil fill and an FFKM seal for optimal performance and longevity in high-temperature steam environments. FFKM, also known as perfluoroelastomer, is a high-performance elastomer that offers exceptional resistance to heat, chemicals, and steam, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the sensor even under extreme conditions.

The DMP331P is commonly employed in industrial processes such as steam sterilization in autoclaves, power generation in thermal power plants, and chemical processing involving high-temperature steam reactions. The standard 316L stainless steel diaphragm provides excellent corrosion resistance, further extending the sensor’s lifespan in harsh environments.
