Industrial and submersible sensors and loggers manufactured by STS Sensor Technik Sirnach AG in Switzerland for measuring pressure and temperature. STS specialise in silicon strain gauge sensing technology with a stainless steel 316L or Titanium construction.
- ATM/T Pressure and Temperature Dual Output Transmitter - Dual analogue output signal transmitter for simultaneous measurement of media pressure and temperature. Pressure 100mb - 1000bar and temp -25 - 100 DegC.
- ATM/N Titanium Submersible Hydrostatic Pressure Transmitter - All Titanium submersible pressure transmitter for measuring the hydrostatic level of leachate, brackish water or sea water. Ranges from 1 up to 250mWC.
- TS100 Compact Temperature Transmitter and PT100 Probe - All stainless steel compact temperature transmitter with integrated Platinum resistance thermometer (PT100), Measure any temperature -50 to 150 degC.
- TM Silicon Strain Gauge Pressure Transducer - Passive compensated pressure transducer with a four arm semiconductor Wheatstone bridge circuit which produces a 100 millivolt with a 10 volt excitation.
Company Background
The company STS was founded in 1987 by four engineers. Since then the company has grown and strengthened its position in the pressure, level, logger and telemetry market.
All STS products are produced in Sirnach Switzerland. All stages of transducer manufacturing are completed at the STS premises which includes; assembling of the sensors, testing, calibration and service. The STS sensor design is modular so that a large variety of pressure ports, electrical connectors, output signals and any pressure range between 50 mbar and 1000 bar can be selected to allow a customer to adapt the specification to their particular application requirements.

Hastelloy & Titanium options
What components are made from the construction material options for Hastelloy on the G1/2 male & G1/2 male with frontal diaphragm, and the Titanium version?
The materials used for each component that form the external surfaces of the sensor are:
G1/2 M Hastelloy C-276 (code 41)
- Housing Material: stainless steel 1.4435
- Process Connection Material: hastelloy C276 (hexagon is 1.4435, stainless steel)
- Diaphragm Material: hastelloy C-276
G1/2 M, frontal diaphragm Hastelloy C276 (code 37)
- Housing Material: stainless steel 1.4435
- Process Connection Material: hastelloy C276 (hexagon is 1.4435, stainless steel)
- Diaphragm Material: hastelloy C-276
Titanium version (code K)
- Housing Material: titanium
- Process Connection Material: titanium
- Diaphragm Material: titanium
Lowest absolute pressure range
What would be the lowest absolute range ATM.1st possible with a 150degC cooling fin & 0.1% accuracy or better?
It will be 0 to 250 mbar. The compensation can be done between -25 to 100°C.
